The Xperia M is a mid-range smartphone aimed at emerging markets. Sony released the handset back in August, and now the Japanese company pushed a firmware update that will fix some issues and improve the overall performance of the device.

According to XperiaBlog, firmware version 15.1.C.1.17 is now rolling out for Sony Xperia M (model C190X). There aren’t too many details regarding the changes included in this update, but it’s supposed to address some reboot issues that affect the handset when users attached their headphones to it.

The cited source claims the update is now pushed in various European countries (Germany, for example) and Asia, but we can expect it to be rolled out globally within the next few days. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
