Good news for Android fans in Canada, as Bell and Sony have teamed up once again to offer the affordable Xperia M smartphone beginning next month.

MobileSyrup reports Bell Canada and Virgin Mobile are expected to introduce the Xperia M on November 7 and customers will be able to purchase the entry-level handset for only $200 (€140) outright.

Keep in mind that Xperia M will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, and it is likely to stay on this version until it reaches end of life status.

Furthermore, the smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

There’s also a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording, as well as a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls.
