Good news for Android users in India who own the Xperia L, as the long awaited Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update has just arrived in their country.

We reported yesterday that Sony had started the rollout of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean upgrade for Xperia L, and it looks like it only took the Japanese company one day to bring it to India.

The folks over at fonearena report that Sony Xperia L units in the country are now eligible for upgrade, so owners might want to manually check for availability.

According to the cited source, the update is pushed via Sony PC Companion, but there might be a slight chance that you can get it OTA (over-the-air) as well. Make sure you back up all your information before attempting to upgrade to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
