Sony Mobile might soon make available for download a new software update for the owners of its Xperia L smartphones.

The firmware has already received the necessary approvals from the PTCRB and should be pushed out to Xperia L C2104 and C2105 devices, a recent post on XperiaBlog reads.

It is expected to land on devices as build number 15.3.A.0.27, and it should bring along a series of minor bug fixes and enhancements.

The firmware is based on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, and it will indeed be a small update compared to the previously available firmware version 15.3.A.0.26.

No official confirmation on the arrival of this software release has been provided as of now, but chances are that users will get it on their devices in a few weeks. Stay tuned for additional info on the matter.
