It's been more than a month since Sony Mobile officially unveiled the Xperia go and Xperia acro S waterproof smartphones, and the devices have yet to make their debut on the market.

Sony Xperia go is available for pre-order in the UK since early July and it has been confirmed at O2 UK. Today, Indian retailer Flipkart quietly added the Xperia go to its portfolio of Android phones.

Indian customers can now pre-order the Xperia go for Rs 18,999 (345 USD or 280 EUR) outright from Flipkart. The retailer states that the device is expected to arrive next week, though the release date is subject to change.

Sony Xperia go is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, but the Japanese company already confirmed the smartphone will receive an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade soon after launch. Check it out here.
