Two affordable devices featuring highly appealing specs
Today, Sony officially unveiled the Xperia E smartphone that was long rumored to arrive on shelves as an affordable device powered by Google’s Android operating system.The new device was made official with HD voice capabilities, as well as with data usage monitoring, and with xLOUD Entertainment packed inside.
The new smartphone comes with a 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen display capable of delivering a 320 x 480 pixel resolution, while featuring a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor.
The Xperia E is expected to become available for purchase in the first quarter of the next year, and will be accompanied by a dual-SIM flavor, called Xperia E dual.
It will run under Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, while the dual flavor will be powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the beginning.
