Sony Mobile might soon launch a new smartphone in Russia, none other than the affordable Xperia C, with model number C2305 attached to it.

The handset, available only in China for the time being, has already been confirmed to arrive on shelves in Russia, though no specific release date has been provided.

Sony will make the phone available in the country at 12,990 Rubles (£252, €300, $405), XperiaBlog reports.

The smartphone lands on shelves with a 1.2GHz quad-core Mediatek MTK6589 processor packed inside, complemented by 1GB of RAM. It is powered by a 2330mAh battery.

Sony also packed Xperia C with 4GB of internal memory, as well as with dual-SIM capabilities. Furthermore, the device sports a 5-inch qHD screen, along with an 8-megapixel camera on the back and front camera for video calling.
