Sony’s Xperia Z

indeed managed to impress the audience at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, but it seems that the good news is not yet over for enthusiasts.

Sony also announced the availability of a specially designed charging dock for the new Android-based smartphone, to make users’ lives easier than before.

Dubbed Charging Dock DK26 (for Xperia Z), the new device will be available in black, measuring 144 x 40 x 30 mm and weighing 55,4 grams.

“Designed for ease of use, this dock lets you charge your phone without opening the USB protective cover on your Xperia Z,” Sony notes on its website.

Unfortunately, the dock does not come with an HDMI port, which means that users won’t be able to connect to a TV through it. No specific info on its pricing has been provided.
