It looks like Sony Mobile is about to launch a new service called ‘MyXperia.’ The Japanese company has just trademarked the new name at the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), in Europe.

Chinese blog site juggly.cn reports the new name may be used by Sony Mobile for a new service/application that is expected to be announced soon.

‘MyXperia’ name is trademarked under applications category and is described as a mobile application that will allow users to “upload, storage, retrieval, download, transmission and delivery of digital content and media.” Check it out here.

Sony’s application for this trademark is still under examination, but is likely to receive approval within the next few days. There are no additional details on the ‘MyXperia’ service/app, but we will keep an eye out on this one and we’ll come wit updates as soon as new info emerges.
