14 DAY TRIAL // Japanese mobile phone maker Sony is preparing some new Android-based devices for launch in the not too distant future, and the company has already sent out invitations to a press event set to take place on September 4.
No specific info on what will be announced there has been provided as of now, but rumor has it that the company might finally be ready to make the long-expected Sony Honami (Xperia i1) smartphone official.
All that Sony notes in the aforementioned invitation is the following: “you are invited to the IFA 2013 Sony press conference and exciting booth unveiling.” The event will take place between 4:15pm and 5:00pm on September 4.
As PhoneArena notes, the upcoming Xperia i1 mobile phone should pack a 5-inch 1080p touchscreen and a Snapdragon 800 processor inside.
