Japanese mobile phone maker Sony will unveil a handful of new smartphones in the not too distant future, and a new phone model was spotted online, namely Sony D6603.

The handset has reportedly made an appearance in the AnTuTu benchmark, where it managed to score no less than 32,996 points.

Apparently, this device will be launched as Sony’s flagship handset for 2014, and it should be paired with the Sony D6503 that emerged in a series of leaked live photos earlier today.

Based on model numbers, chances are that the two phones will be released as successors for the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL that landed last year with model numbers C660X and C650X attached, respectively, as XperiaBlog notes.

Unfortunately, no official confirmation on this has been provided as of now, and we’ll have to take the above with a grain of salt.
