Sony Mobile has already announced plans to bring the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system to its 2012 Xperia devices, and it seems that it is already testing the new platform release on its flagship Xperia T.

The device has been spotted in GLBenchmark with the new OS flavor on top, which clearly shows that the company is set to put the upgrade through its paces before pushing it out to users.

Xperia T (LT30p) emerged in said benchmark with firmware version 9.1.A.0.187. According to XperiaBlog, this means that the company will bring the Xperia T up to eDream 9 to load Jelly Bean on it (the ICS firmware is 7.0.A.1.303).

Xperia V was also spotted with eDream 9 (firmware 9.0.D.0.175), but that software was ICS-based, which suggests that 9.1.A.0.XXX firmware versions will be based on Jelly Bean.
