14 DAY TRIAL // Sony Mobile has just announced that it added Xperia T to the list of supported devices in the flash tool that it made available for download a few weeks ago.
Through this tool, developers and users can download and install Sony firmware on their Xperia devices should they need to do so.
The application can work only with a few Xperia models, namely Xperia T, Xperia S, Xperia arc and Xperia arc S, and requires a Windows-based computer.
During flashing, all data on the device will be wiped out, which means that users will have to back up their files before proceeding.
The flash tool can be used only on devices with unlocked bootloaders. The unlocking process will void warranty, and users should take that into consideration as well. The tool can be downloaded from this page.
