Major carrier AT&T has just scored yet another exclusive, as the company is now the only network operator that sells the Sonim XP6 rugged smartphone in the United States.

Customers can now grab the Sonim XP6 for $0 down at $17.50 per month on AT&T Next 24 agreement, or for $0 down at $21.88 on AT&T Next 18 agreement.

In addition, the carrier offers the smartphone for $0 down at $26.25 on AT&T Next 12 agreement or for $149.99 with a standard two-year contract. Those who don't want to commit to a long-term contract can get the XP6 for no less than $524.99 outright.

Sonim XP6 has been certified MIL-STD 810G and rated IP68 for water immersion and IP69 for water spray, which makes it the perfect smartphone for those working outdoors in tough environments.

Apparently, Sonim has even tested the XP6 against drops from higher distances, impact from concrete floors and other hazardous situations. The smartphone can survive a bath in the mud, a dousing of antifreeze, as well as the crushing force from a ton of metric pressure.

Last but not least, Sonim XP6 is powered by a high-capacity 4800 mAh battery, which is supposed to last for several days. On top of that, the smartphone works in the AT&T EPTT push-to-talk service, which makes it even more useful for easier communication.
