The beta version of Solid Explorer for Android devices has just been updated with support for cloud services and stability improvements.

The file manager is now on beta2 and features the ability to stream media from Dropbox, Box, Google Drive and ZIP files. In addition, the application received a status bar and special bit flags for file permissions.

However, the latter only works on rooter devices. There’s a new quick config popup under jump action as well, and a manual toggle for system remount (root only).

Several fixes for reported issues have been included in the updates as well, along with some stability improvements and minor bug fixes:

- Fixed freezes when transferring over ftp; - Fixed a bug causing the files to be deleted instead of moved; - Fixed some issues related to media streaming.

Solid Explorer Beta2 1.3.8 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
