Slacker has just updated its Android client with new features, as well as some bug fixes and improvements.

The most interesting change seems to be the addition of a Night mode, enabling users to take advantage of the application even while in low light environments.

According to developers, the latest version of Slacker Radio opens much faster as Slacker improved slow start up on some phones.

Last but not least, the update includes a certain number of fixes for streaming bugs that have been reported by users or discovered by developers, though no additional details are provided.

The new Slacker Radio 4.0.1013 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
