Video rotation support for more devices has been added as well

There’s a new version of Skype for Android available for download via Google Play store. It looks like the developers are trying to improve the application’s overall performance and add minor tweaks whenever possible.

Although this update does not bring too many changes, it does one important thing as it adds video rotation support for more devices.

Furthermore, developers confirmed they have restyled instant messaging view and made it start much faster. No other changes seem to have been included either than the ones mentioned earlier.

Hopefully, Skype will be able to address other bugs and issues that continue to plague the Android application.

Anyway, Skype 2.8.0.920 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be compatible with most devices running Android 2.1 and up.
