The popular messaging and chatting application Skype is now available for devices running under the Symbian Belle Feature Pack 1 and Feature Pack 2 operating system.

The app, available for download through the official Nokia Store portal, can now be installed on the Nokia 808 PureView, a post on MyNokiaBlog reads.

With Skype installed on their devices, users will be able to enjoy free Skype to Skype messaging and voice chats.

Furthermore, the app offers the possibility to call landlines and other phone numbers at lower rates, and also enables users to easily share photos, videos and other content from their mobile devices.

The Skype application can be used both on 3G networks of wireless carriers and on Wi-Fi connections. The mobile app is available for download for free.
