In late April, BlackBerry and Microsoft officially announced the availability of Skype for the BlackBerry Q10 devices, enabling users to take advantage of the app and service right from day one of the handset’s availability.

The software is now available for BlackBerry Z10 as well, it seems.

Skype was released with support for the BlackBerry OS 10.1.0 or higher, and can now be installed on the full-touch BlackBerry Z10 devices as well, as long as they have been updated to the new flavor of the platform, n4bb reports.

For those out of the loop, we should also note that the BlackBerry 10.1 platform release has started to arrive on Z10 handsets several days ago, though only in a small number of markets around the world. However, the OS should hit more units soon.
