Microsoft's SkyDrive service was rebranded a few weeks ago, but the Windows Phone application has received its new name only today.

Along with the new OneDrive name, the Windows Phone application has also received several new features and improvements, which are meant to enhance overall user experience even further.

According to the official changelog, the update brings a brand new thumbnail view along with improved view of shared files. In addition, users can now share multiple items at once or pin folders to their Start screen.

With the last version of OneDrive, users will be able to open their files stored in the cloud in other apps. Last but not least, some bug fixes and performance improvements have been included as well.

You can now download OneDrive for Windows Phone 3.5 for free via Windows Phone Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and up.
