Starting with early December, owners of Windows Phone 8 smartphones out there should be able to enjoy the benefits of a new application, namely Sky Go.

No official announcement on this has been made as of now, but confirmation on the software’s near landing has already emerged, courtesy of WindowsPhoneItaly.

The news site makes reference to an article in the Italian Sky Life magazine, where Sky themselves talk about the upcoming application for Microsoft’s mobile platform.

Apparently, the app will be compatible with all of Nokia’s Windows Phone 8 devices, and will be released in the “first days of December.”

As WMPoweruser notes, this suggests that only Nokia Lumia users will be able to enjoy the benefits of the application. Based on the latest data coming from AdDuplex, this means that around 90 percent of all Windows Phone users out there will receive it.
