Shazam, the popular application that allows users to identify music and TV while on the move, has just received a small update on Windows Phone platform.

According to the developer, it has implemented a new version of YouTube inside its application, so that users can benefit from better video pages.

Additionally, Shazam for Windows Phone has received some minor bug fixes, though no details on any of them have been shared yet.

This is the second update for Shazam that developer has released this month. In the previous one, Xbox Music integration was implemented, which is available in the Windows Phone version.

You can now add favorite songs from Charts to My Shazam too and get recommended songs based on your Shazams.

Xbox Music integration means that users are now able to enjoy Xbox Music in Charts and My Shazam, as well as the option to preview favorite Shazams with Xbox Music Playback.

If you don't have the application installed yet, you can now download Shazam for Windows Phone 4.2.1 for free via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and up.

Keep in mind that a paid Shazam Encore version is available in Windows Phone Store too and has the same hardware/software requirements.
