One of the latest changes that RIM has announced for its BlackBerry 10 platform was the rebranding of the BlackBerry App World to BlackBerry World, something that those who own a BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device should already know.

The handset vendor also announced that the new BlackBerry World would provide users with access to more than just applications and games, and the video above (available courtesy of RIMarkable) is meant to offer some more details on the matter.

Through the portal, users will also be able to enjoy music and other content available for purchase and download to their devices.

RIM announced the aforementioned change at BlackBerry Jam Asia, where it also detailed some other features of the upcoming mobile operating system flavor, including the BlackBerry Hub or the new Contacts app in the platform.
