ASUS and Google have been long rumored to plan the launch of a second-generation Nexus 7 tablet PC, and the slate might have just emerged in a video promo coming from the Internet giant itself.

In the aforementioned video, which can be seen embedded above, the Android-based slate makes an appearance somewhere around the 0:53 mark, as mobileaks notes in a recent post.

The new Nexus 7 tablet PC was expected to become official at the Google I/O conference earlier this month, but it’s nowhere to be seen as of now.

However, with a wide range of reports suggesting that the device is indeed being prepared for release, it might not be too long before Google actually makes it official, especially if it is already being featured in promo videos from the company, so stay tuned for more on this.
