ASUS and Google have been long rumored to plan the launch of a second generation Nexus 7 tablet PC, and it seems that they are finally getting ready to make the device official, as it has already received the necessary certification in Indonesia.

The device is said to arrive on shelves at least in two different flavors, one packing model number ASUS K008 and featuring only Wi-Fi, and another with model number ASUS K009 attached to it, and packing 4G LTE connectivity inside.

Although still unofficial, the slate is said to be launched with a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, 1.2MP front camera, a 3950 mAh battery, and Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean platform loaded on top.

The tablet PC might be unveiled before the end of July, so stay tuned for more info on it.
