Regional carrier SaskTel plans to release two rugged handsets in the coming days, the Sonim Bolt 2 XP5560IS and XP5560. Both are now listed on the Canadian operator's online store as “Coming Soon” and have yet to be priced.

According to MobileSyrup, these handsets will be fully compatible with SaskTel's PTT (push-to-talk) technology and will add to the limited selection of handsets with PTT support available at the Canadian carrier.

No word on release date or specs sheet, but SaskTel mentions that both Sonim Bolt handsets can “handle whatever life throws at you.”

The ultra-rugged phones have been especially “designed to survive even the toughest job sites, making it perfect for industries like construction, trucking, and farming. Submerge it in water, drop it on concrete, or drive over it with a pickup truck, it can handle it all.”
