SaskTel is the fifth Canadian carrier that confirms support for BlackBerry 10 operating system, after TELUS, Bell, Virgin Mobile and Rogers opened up pre-registrations for RIM’s upcoming devices.

Although SaskTel does not offer customers the option to pre-register for the latest updates on BlackBerry 10 devices, we can expect that the carrier will launch one or both smartphones around the same time as the other Canadian operators.

Research In Motion (RIM) will officially unveil its BlackBerry 10 operating system on January 30. Aside from the new platform, the Canadian company is also expected to launch two smartphones powered by BlackBerry 10, the Z10 and X10.

The handset maker currently tests its BlackBerry 10 devices with more than 150 carriers, so it stands to reason that both smartphones will be launched globally. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
