Samsung’s next flagship Android-based smartphone won’t be officially introduced at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next week, but it will be present at the show nonetheless.

According to the latest rumors on the matter, the South Korean mobile phone maker plans on bringing Galaxy S III’s successor to the show, but only to show it to a few, exclusive top executives.

The info comes from South Korean website MT, which also claims that Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Jay Lee will be presenting the new device to carriers and other partners.

The news site also notes that the smartphone will sport a 5-inch 1080p display when released, along with Samsung’s Exynos 5440 quad-core ARM Cortex A15-based chip inside.

Samsung will bring only a prototype device to the show next week, it seems, as it wants to keep secrecy on the phone.
