Samsung is really going to launch a 7-inch smartphone, which goes beyond anything that’s now available on the market in terms of size. Even with the thin bezels, the Galaxy Mega 7.0 will be huge and impossible to handle with just one hand.

Although there aren’t too many details available regarding the phone’s specs sheet, the first picture of the phablet has just leaked online via Ortud forums.

The so-called Galaxy Mega 7.0 seems to be inserted into some kind of protective case, which also has China Mobile’s logo tagged on it.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 7.0 was recently spotted at FCC (Federal Communications Commission) under the codenames SM-T2558 and SM-T2556, which indicates that the South Korean company is likely to make it official pretty soon.

Aside from the really huge display, which is said to support HD (720p) resolution, Samsung Galaxy Mega 7.0 is rumored to come equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.

It will also come with dual cameras, though the amount of megapixels for either of them is still unknown. No word on when exactly the phablet will be announced, but we suspect that Samsung will introduce it next month.
