Samsung is expected to bring out a majorly improved Galaxy S6 in a few weeks at MWC 2015 in Barcelona, and just a few days ago we detailed for you the changes that you can expect to see in the new version of TouchWiz.

The current hearsay claims that Samsung’s proprietary UI will be cleaner and more intuitive in the Galaxy S6. But that’s not all.

A new report coming out of Polish publication Komputer Swiat claims that Samsung is looking to introduce a 64-bit version of TouchWiz with its latest flagship device.

Samsung has an R&D center in the country, so the information might just prove to be the real deal. Although 64-bit devices made it out on the market in 2014, they don’t really hold a firm grasp of the market. But come 2015, more and more manufacturers will be willing to adopt this architecture.

The source says that the re-written TouchWiz is currently being tested on 64-bit hardware and works really smoothly and fast. But with a processor like the Exynos 7420 on board, things would run speedily anyway.

The new TouchWiz has been said to bring along other important changes. For example, the customary Samsung apps will be replaced with Microsoft’s host of apps (like Office, OneDrive). So when the Galaxy S6 comes out, you won’t see things like S Health, S Voice and S Note on the handset by default.
