Samsung confirmed several weeks ago that it would bring Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on some of its most popular smartphones, including Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note II.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note II is still stuck on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, the South Korean company has announced that it will skip the Android 4.2 update for this particular model.

Basically, this means that the Galaxy Note II should receive an upgrade to the latest version of Google’s platform, Android 4.3 in the coming weeks.

The information has been recently tipped by the folks over at SaMMobile, but additional details on availability have yet to emerge.

According to a tweet posted recently, Samsung has already started testing the Android 4.3 build for Galaxy Note II. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.

UPDATE: SaMMobile reports Samsung is expected to deliver Android 4.3 update for Galaxy Note II "around late November / early December." Stay tuned for more on this.
