South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics has yet to officially announce any Tizen OS-based smartphones, but it seems that info on at least one such device has already emerged online.

The handset has been spotted online with model number SM-Z9005 attached to it, and UAProf (User Agent Profile) string on Samsung’s website (uncovered by TechTastic) suggests that it is real.

Furthermore, as SamMobile notes, the document confirms that the new device will feature a 720p touchscreen display, as well as a Snapdragon processor with multiple Krait cores, as well as with support for 4G LTE connectivity.

The smartphone appears to be featuring about the same hardware specifications as the Samsung Galaxy S III, and is said to be already undergoing testing.

Rumor has it that Samsung would be set to make its first Tizen-based devices official sometime in October or November, so stay tuned to learn more on the matter.
