A new large smartphone coming from South Korean handset vendor Samsung Electronics emerged online over the weekend, featuring model number Samsung SM-G739F.

No specific info on the market name of this mobile phone has been provided as of now, but it appears that it will be a large device, one that will sport a 5.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering an HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution.

The yet unannounced phone was spotted in the GFXBench database, where some of the hardware specs it will arrive on shelves with were revealed.

Thus, Samsung is expected to launch the new handset as a mid-range smartphone, yet no details on when that might happen have been provided as of now.

In addition to the aforementioned HD screen, the upcoming Samsung SM-G739F should also sport a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, along with Adreno 305 graphics, which will deliver pretty decent performance levels.

The mobile phone should also feature 1.5GB of RAM (although it is listed in the benchmark with 1.3GB of RAM), as well as 16GB of internal memory. A microSD memory card slot should also be present in the package, allowing users to expand the available storage.

When launched, the new handset should pack an 8-megapixel camera on the back, with full HD video recording capabilities, as well as a 2MP front camera for video calling.

Samsung SM-G739F runs under the Android 4.4.4 KitKat right from the start, the benchmark listing reveals.
