European owners of the 7-inch version of Galaxy Tab 2 Wi-Fi have just started to receive the promised Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update.

According to SamMobile, the update is pushed OTA (over the air) in France. Owners of the tablet can also update it via Samsung Kies desktop software.

So far, only Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Wi-Fi owners in France have confirmed that the Jelly Bean update is now live, but we expect Samsung to deploy the upgrade in additional European countries very soon.

No word whether or not Samsung started to roll out the Jelly Bean for the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 as well, but we will keep an eye out for this one and let you know as soon as it becomes available. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
