The handset should arrive in June or July in Black and White

South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung is reportedly gearing up for the launch of a 16 megapixel camera phone, one that might land on the market under the name of Galaxy S4 Zoom, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

According to a recent post on SamMobile, the upcoming device will arrive on shelves with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a qHD resolution, and will also sport 8GB of internal memory, as well as a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage.

The phone is also said to arrive on the market with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS receiver, and Google’s Android Jelly Bean platform loaded on top (as well as with the Nature UI).

Apparently, Samsung has yet to decide on the processor and RAM that will be included inside the smartphone. The handset should arrive in June / July in Black and White, featuring model number SM-C1010.
