South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has announced a new, limited edition flip cover for its Galaxy Note II smartphone, one meant to celebrate the Hangul Day.

The new Galaxy Note II Flip Cover with Hangul design will be released in the company’s homeland market in only a little over 1,000 units, and is said to be available for purchase starting today.

The flip cover is made by Korea’s fashion designer Lee Geon-Maan, and comes with Hangul marks that represent innovation and creativity.

Galaxy Note II arrived on shelves in the country with a 5.5-inch touchscreen display on the front, a quad-core processor inside, an 8MP photo snapper on the back with full HD video recording capabilities, and Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform loaded on it right from the beginning.
