Samsung Releases Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Kernel Source for GALAXY Note 10.1

Shortly after it launched the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the US version of Galaxy Note 10.1, Samsung released the kernel source code for the new ROM.

Developers and Android enthusiasts who wish to tinker with the slate’s features can now download the newly released kernel source code via Samsung Open Source Release Center here.

Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 brings lots of new features and improvements.

It appears that the US version of the tablet was the first to receive this upgrade, as all the other updates were Android 4.1.1.

However, we expect that Samsung will roll out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean to the rest of the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablets in the following weeks. We will keep an eye out for this one, so stay tuned for more info on the matter.
