Microsoft has just announced that a new Windows Phone smartphone is currently being upgraded to the new Mango OS flavor, namely the Samsung Omnia 7 on the airwaves of Deutsche Telekom.

This is one of the latest smartphones in the world to receive the update, and marks the near completion of Mango's delivery for Windows Phone users.

“Today we made the Windows Phone 7.5 update available to Samsung Omnia 7 phones on Deutsche Telekom in Europe. If you don’t want to wait for a notification, Update Central has instructions for manually checking for and installing the software on your device,” Microsoft announced.

Almost the entire range of Windows Phone devices that landed on shelves since October last year with Microsoft's mobile OS on board was updated to the new Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update, in only about five weeks since the roll-out kicked off officially.

However, there still are some devices that will receive it at a later time, and all the necessary info on the matter can be found on Microsoft's website here.
