Unveiled back in August, Samsung Galaxy Y hit shelves two months later with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread platform out of the box.

Also known as Samsung Galaxy Young, the smartphone received several software updates that either added some tweaks and new features or simply fixed reported bugs.

GSMArena has just been tipped that there’s a new minor update rolling out in Europe. According to them, this update changes the baseband version to S536ODDLF1 and the firmware version to S536ODDLF1.

Given the fact that we don’t have any confirmation from Samsung, it will take some time until we get more details on the changes this update brings.

However, word is that this minor update for Samsung Galaxy Y improves the system stability and enhances the display’s responsiveness. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
