One of the first devices capable of reaching LTE speeds at TELUS is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE. The slate has just been added on the carrier's site with the “Coming Soon” tag attached to it.

Although there are no details on the tablet's exact release date, we can safely assume that TELUS will launch it just in time for Christmas.

With Android 3.2 Honeycomb on board, and possibly Ice Cream Sandwich next year, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is one of the best slates available in the market.

On the inside, the tablet is equipped with a dual-core processor manufactured by Qualcomm, which is clocked at 1.5 GHz. There's also 16GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM and dual cameras (3-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera).

In the same news, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is now available in Canada via Bell for $429.95 (330 EUR) with a new three-year agreement or $649.95 (500 EUR) off-contract.
