Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy S IV after Mobile World Congress 2013, which is set to kick off later this month.

Moreover, the latest hearsay claims the South Korean company doesn’t plan to launch any major device at MWC 2013, so we can expect official announcements to start pouring.

One of the Android devices expected to make its debut in Q1 2013 is the new Galaxy Tab 3 tablet. In fact, Samsung plans to launch a new series of tablets with different sized displays.

The smallest will sport a 7-inch WXGA capacitive touchscreen display that supports 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.

Although we don’t have any details on the tablet’s possible release date, it looks like the folks over at Techkiddy spotted the first benchmark results of the slate.

According to GLBenchmark, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will be powered by a 1.5 GHz processor and a Mali-400MP GPU. As expected, the slate is codenamed Santos and is powered by Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
