The two flagship models aren't shipping out to customers

It’s a good time to be alive. Even as the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are yet to make it out on the market (this is scheduled for April 11), the two handsets have already been rooted.

Well-known go-getting developer Chainfire has announced on his Google+ profile that the root for the T-Mobile Galaxy S6 (SM-G920T) and Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925T) is now available.

If you want to download the CF-Auto-Root, you can do so from the repository, but that probably won’t do much good since the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge aren't shipping out to customers for the time being. Unless you’re one of the lucky elite.

Chainfire highlights the fact that Samsung Knox will probably be tipped by the rooting process, so the device will not be able to utilize Samsung Pay (although Google Wallet will be still available).

Samsung launched the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge barely a few weeks ago. The two handsets have been widely considered Samsung’s greatest achievements to date and the Korean tech giant is feeling pretty good about them too.

The company has claimed at one point that it expects the new flagship to outsell its most popular phone to date, the Galaxy S4.
