The first picture of the Galaxy S6 Plus leaked online earlier this month. The larger version of the Galaxy S6 edge is expected to be launched in the coming months, though not many details on the phone's specs are known for the moment.

One thing we do know is that the smartphone might be launched on the market as Samsung Galaxy S6 Note. Dutch blog GalaxyClub.nl reports that Samsung has just trademarked the “S6 Note” name in South Korea.

We expect a new device under this name to be launched on the market pretty soon, and the only one that fits the description is the Galaxy S6 Plus, since the phone was rumored to pack a 5.7-inch display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

The Galaxy S6 Note is also said to be powered by a 64-bit hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, as well as an Adreno 418 graphics processing unit.

It's unclear whether or not the Galaxy S6 Note will come with an S Pen stylus as well. That's about all the information we have on the previously rumored Galaxy S6 Plus, but we suspect more details will emerge in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more on this one.
