Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is one good looking smartphone boasting some pretty advanced specifications. But will it be able to survive the strains of modern life?

Theory says it should. The phone has a metal frame and pieces of Gorilla Glass 4 living on the back and front, so at least on paper, it should be able to come out unharmed if dropped on a hardened surface.

A new video on YouTube proves that the Galaxy S6 Edge is a sturdy piece of gadgetry. In it, we see a lady taking out her frustration on the very expensive S6 Edge by throwing it, in what could be mistaken as a fit of rage, on the floor repeatedly.

Despite the hard blows, it appears that the Galaxy S6 Edge passed the test. The phone appears to be as responsive as before violence was administered to it.

It’s encouraging to see that the Galaxy S6 Edge is at least very sturdy. Unlike the Galaxy S5 before it, Samsung hasn't outfitted the new flagships with IP67 certification. So don’t go thinking you’ll be able to submerge the new flagship in up to 3.3ft / 1m of water and still be able to continue using it as nothing happened.
