Rumor has it there’s only one Galaxy S6 in the making

Not so long ago we told you the Samsung Galaxy S6 was pegged for CES 2015 alongside a dual-edged variant.

Well, the folks over at HDBlog have leaked a few new details about the upcoming Galaxy S6. According to them, Samsung will blend features from the Galaxy Note Edge, newly unveiled Galaxy A series and metal-framed Galaxy Alpha into the Galaxy S6.

Reliable sources have disclosed that the Galaxy S6 will arrive with a full aluminum body and will have both sides curved.

However, the solution chosen to achieve this feature will be a tad different from the one we've seen in the Galaxy Note Edge, in an effort to bypass difficulties in gripping a smartphone that has both sides shielded in curved glass.

Interestingly, the Italian blog claims there won’t be two versions, a regular Galaxy S6 and a dual-edged variant, but only one coming with two curved sides.

The separation into models will come in terms of chips-sets, as Samsung will launch models with Snapdragon 810 for LTE units and others will take advantage of its new 64-bit Exynos 7 Octa chip.

Last but not least, the report denies the fact that Samsung is going to be unveil the flagship at CES 2015. Rather we should expect the handset to make an appearance in Q2.
