Samsung Galaxy S5 may follow the same launch pattern as Galaxy S4, which means that the South Korean company won’t unveil the smartphone at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014.

The trade fair is set to kick off in late February, but famous leaker Eldar Murtazin claims that Samsung Galaxy S5 won’t be showcased at MWC 2014.

Instead, Samsung will announce the Galaxy S5 during a dedicated event that is rumored to take place in Europe. The South Korean company is still considering where exactly the press conference will be held, so it’s too early for any confirmation yet.

According to Murtazin, Samsung Galaxy S5 will be announced sometime in March and will go on sale around May 1. Obviously, take the news with a grain of salt until more info on Galaxy S5’s release emerges.
