The smartphone is available at $0 on specific contracts

Canadian mobile phone users interested in the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini smartphone can now grab the device on the network of wireless carrier Koodo as well.

The handset has landed on shelves at the operator at $0 upfront on the carrier’s Tab Large plan, but it can also be purchased contract-free, at $400 (€286), as MobileSyrup notes.

Samsung Galaxy S4 mini was made official with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 960 x 540 pixels resolution, as well as with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor inside.

Furthermore, the smartphone features 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot. It is powered by a 1900 mAh battery and runs under Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
