Good news for Samsung Galaxy S4 owners who purchased their devices via major carrier US Cellular, as the long-awaited Android 4.4 KitKat update is about to hit their smartphones.

The folks over at AndroidCentral have managed to get their hands on a US Cellular internal document, which suggests that the carrier might start the rollout of the Android 4.4 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy S4 no later than February 19.

According to this document, US Cellular will kick off a staggered deployment of the update, which means that not all Galaxy S4 owners will receive it at the same time, but KitKat should be available for everyone in about 10 days.

Aside from bringing the smartphone to Android 4.4 KitKat, the update is also said to remove Daily Perks and MobiTiles application. Obviously, they can be re-installed via Google Play Store for those who wish to continue to use it.
