The successor of Galaxy S II is already under development

South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is hard at work with the development of their next flagship device, which should arrive on shelves under the name of Samsung Galaxy S III, some of the latest reports suggest.

The new mobile phone has just made it in a leaked slide, which should quite impressive specifications, something that one would expect from a Galaxy S device.

The upcoming handset should pack an 1.8GHz dual-core Exynos 4212 processor, which translates into much increased performance capabilities when compared to the original version of the CPU, which was clocked in at 1.5GHz.

It will also arrive on shelves with a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display, 2GB RAM, and with a 12-megapixel photo snapper, at least this is what the guys over at phandroid found out.
