The smartphone was initially priced at $315/€235 outright

One of the many dual-SIM smartphones launched in India, the Galaxy S DUOS made its debut back in September 2011.

Initially priced at Rs 16,900 ($315/€235) outright, the phone's price has been recently cut to Rs 14,900 ($280/€210) off contract.

However, the folks over at AndroidOS report Samsung Galaxy S DUOS' price has been cut even further, so customers in India can now purchase it for only Rs 12,900 ($240/€180). Check it out here.

The Galaxy S DUOS ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and packs a 1GHz single core processor.

Furthermore, the smartphone sports a 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution, as well as a 5-megapixel rear camera, a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls and 4GB of internal memory.
